Zinc steel guardrail refers to a zinc steel fence made of zinc alloy material. Due to its advantages of high strength, high hardness, beautiful appearance, and bright color, it has become the mainstream product used for residential communities and field fences.
Traditional guardrails use iron bars and aluminum alloy materials, which require the use of welding and other process technologies. Moreover, the texture is relatively soft, easy to rust, and the color is single. Zinc steel guardrails perfectly solve the shortcomings of traditional guardrails and are inexpensive, making them a substitute for traditional balcony guardrail materials.
(1) Zinc steel guardrail material
Zinc steel guardrail consists of substrate and accessories.
Zinc steel guardrail profiles The base material of zinc steel guardrails is high-temperature hot-dip galvanizing material. Hot dip galvanizing refers to putting high-quality steel into a zinc bath at several thousand degrees Celsius, and after soaking for a certain period of time, the zinc liquid will penetrate into the steel, forming a special zinc steel alloy. The surface of hot-dip galvanizing material can not rust for 30 years without any treatment in the outdoor environment. For example, highway guardrails and high-voltage electric towers are made of high-temperature hot-dip galvanizing materials, Its rust prevention has lasted for 30 years, completely solving the problem of rust prevention, aesthetics, and safety that has existed for many years.
Zinc steel guardrail accessories use modified high-strength engineering nylon with a service life of up to 50 years. Its strength and hardness are much higher than ordinary steel materials, and it can withstand pressure of over 183MPA per square meter, tensile force of 2729MPA, and can withstand high temperatures below 220 ℃ without deformation.
(2) Zinc steel guardrail technology
1. Zinc steel guardrail technology: It is composed of welded joints and assembled horizontally and vertically. Compared to traditional iron guardrails, installation is faster and the appearance is more beautiful.
2. The substrate of zinc steel guardrail consists of six layers, which are:
(1) Base steel: base material, with a hardness value of 159DPN;
(2) Zinc steel alloy layer (Zeta layer): The dense alloy layer closest to the substrate, with complex structure and strong corrosion resistance. It exists as a combination of FeZn7 and FeZn13, with a hardness value of 211DPN and a Fe content of 7% -11%;
(3) Delta layer: Significantly monoclinic columnar structure with a Fe content of 6%, non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and a hardness value of 179DPN;
(4) Pure zinc layer (Eta layer): dense Hexagonal crystal family, not easy to crack during deformation processing, zinc purity 98.5%, hardness 70DPN;
(5) High zinc phosphating layer: has good corrosion resistance and enhances the adhesion between the coating and the substrate;
(6) Aksu Nobel Color Ionic Molecule High Temperature Curing Layer: Excellent anti-corrosion and impact resistance, with excellent UV resistance, oxidation resistance, and surface self-cleaning performance. The color change rate does not exceed 5% in 15 years.
